Kamalaya Yoga – Kundalini Yoga with Lucy Barber
Hello, my name is Lucy and I live in beautiful North Cornwall and I teach weekly kundalini yoga classes in Wadebridge.
I live a busy life just like you and over the last 20 or so years that I have practised, yoga has grown to benefit me in so many ways. I discovered kundalini yoga in 2009 and I felt an instant connection with this truly holistic yogic practice; it felt like discovering a complete toolbox to help go beyond the challenges and stresses of everyday life.
I have been fortunate to train with the inspirational yogi and musician Maya Fiennes, and have enjoyed teaching since gaining my Diploma as a Kundalini Yoga instructor with Amrit Nam Sarovar in 2012. I am passionate in sharing the many tools that work for me and my aim is to share the enjoyment and benefits of yoga and meditation to empower others to enjoy life fully, in balance, and with positivity. I really enjoy bringing a sense of fun and joy to my classes, workshops and retreats, helping students to see that yoga moves deeper than being ‘on the mat’ and is an opportunity to develop an internal awareness that can help you realise your full potential.
Kamalaya Yoga’s essence is expressed in its name: Lotus (Kamal) Realm (alaya), an ancient symbol for growth and unfolding of life’s potential.
